Clothes for 13yr old DS

Hello, would appreciate any pointers on what clothes labels are less likely to make my son heave when unwrapped at Christmas
Looking for jackets and t-shirts, TIA

It really depends on his style.
A T from supreme- online store is very sort after - which makes the price steep.
Fucking awesome, Petta , vans especially when collaborated with another brand.
These are street ware labels not sporty.

Jack wills
super dry
Penguin (t k maxx for those)
Addidas (unfortunately)

If he's 13, he already knows the truth about Santa. So I'd promise him a set amount of money to go shopping in the sales after Christmas, when he can choose what he wants for himself. Gift vouchers are a good alternative too :)

Oh, and you'll probably heave at what he chooses, but just go with it, and have a stiff drink or some chocolate afterwards ;)

I think it depends what area you live in. My ds has very different style/ taste than my cousins who live in a more rural area. He likes marharashi, Hugo boss and some moncler.

I second superdry and jack wills. Also Hollister (if that's how it's spelt) all popular in my 14 year old ds school

My 13 year old likes Topman

My 13DS couldn't care less about brands and even if I gave him £100 to go shopping and offered to take him, he probably still wouldn't go! His only requirement is skinny jeans. I therefore shop at Primark and he seems happy with that. It's a good thing considering he shot from 5'6'' last year to almost 6'1'' this month, so some clothes he only wore a couple of times before he didn't fit any longer.

There is Superdry Seconds store on E bay ( UK ) and I got a very good jacket from that - about half price and it comes with all labels and tags. Superdry jackets seem popular. Holister for t shirts/sweatshirts. TK Max always worth a rummage. Vans for shoes ( cheaper than Nike ).

North Face and SuperDry for jackets. Get him to try on sizes in shop, then order online.

Polo or a Nike for tshirt, but it will be whatever his friends wear, so just let him choose from JD Sports etc.

Superdry, Ralph Lauren, Adidas, Ellesse (yes really!), Converse

He hates Superdry, btw, but loves fatface! Our fatface is next door to Jack Wills, which he walks past without a second glance.

PP is right that you can only judge by his own taste and personal style - some 13 year olds like certain young adult brands, others like sportswear, others don't give a shit. DS1 seems to veer towards outdoor brands. I've caught his attention with some Jack Wolfskin stuff. He has various weights and styles of coat - one a Next sale jobbie with wonderful pockets that e can shove lots of things in, one tresspass which he's surgically attached to and a lovely Tog24 3 in one thing which he is yet to get the han of, but likes on himself. he rather likes some Barbour fingerless gloves, which mean that he can use his phone on long walks.

And, of course, some 13 year old boys nowhere near fit adult sizes, yet.

Swingofthing - almost 13yo is currently 5'6 with stupidly huge hands and head. We're forseeing the same thing. he already goes to (non uniform) school in ankle grazer joggers that he only started wearing in August/September!

I chucked him a Helly Hansen beanie that i picked up cheap in a sale, last year, in full knowledge that it was a little big at the moment. It sat on top of his head like a bloody pixie hat. Over to DS2 with that one!

Depends on his friends really. Mine wears Supreme, Palace, Champion (yes really) and other obscure skater brands. Apparently Hollister can't be seen after year 6 and I don't think they would set foot in Jack Wills. He's happy with pretty much any bottoms so I buy him Primark and H&M jeans and chinos and I bought him a Primark lightweight hooded puffa for school as it rolls up into his bag and he seems to wear that a lot at the weekend to my surprise.
