To admire dd's optimism (V Fest)

dd is off to v fest in Staffordshire this weekend with group of friends- been twice before so knows the score....however the weather forecast is appalling ( rain and gales) yet she's wearing some very lovely boho shorts/flowery gypsy top outfit -which will look dreadful when she gets soaked- .....ah well the optimism of youth....hope she has a great time whatever the weather!! ( she does have wellies and a Barbour though!)

That's teenagers for you! We went on a holiday in Wales once, DSD knew we'd be doing lots of walking including going up Snowdon.

So she packed lots of pretty floaty dresses and ballet pumps. We then had to buy her boots and a waterproof coat.
