Daughter's boyfriend smokes

My 13 yr old has her first boyfriend who's almost 15 and he's really a great kid. He does well in school, works, and is kind and respectful to everyone. The only issue is that he smokes cigarettes with his mom's permission. I smoke too unfortunately and I'm struggling with whether I should allow him to smoke when he's at our house. I know how addicting smoking is at any age but it's still difficult seeing teens smoke these days. Anyone else had to deal with this?

I'm not sure I can be much help because I have a 14 yr old daughter that smokes too. Once they start they will only quit when they are ready and we can either accept it or make them sneak around. Hopefully they will outgrow it and realize what a terrible habit it is but until then I don't think you can stop him from smoking other than telling him you don't want him smoking in your house.

I found the easiest way to stop teenagers smoking was simply to accept it, thereby taking all the fun out of it.

Most of them grow out of it pretty quickly.
