dd made a birthday list and one thing on it is a swegway. I have read may reviews and articles saying they can blow up but dd assured me they are safe if bought from uk. shall I buy or no?

For a start where would she be riding it as you can't in public, only on private land.

The owner of the company that builds swegways/ segways, jimi hesleden or something, killed himself on one of his own segways. He went off a cliff on it! Dangerous bloody things. I would forget it. I paid a fortune for a motorised scooter for dd, and the novelty soon wore off anyway.

Besides, have you seen the price of them? You must be loaded.

You can't take them in shops - so open to theft -

You can have parties on these things - look it up - might be an alternative?
