My daughters skin is really bad and she is constantly down about it, absolutely caking herself in makeup and then In the evening she scrubs off her skin cells!! It's really awful, and then she will smother her face in moisturiser! Anyone else have this problem? If so any suggestions on skin care?

I used to do that at that age. You need to have a talk with her, the scouring process will make her skin worse though she sees it as deep cleansing. Seriously take her to the doc Asap who will talk sense about skin care and prescribe medication if needed. The less she messes with her skin, the better. Soap/ cleanser and water is more gentle and effective. Leave off moisturiser altogether , not needed when young and the skin will find its own moisture equilibrium and develop a natural barrier that she is destroying through over- cleaning. Tough years. She will get over this phase but it is soul destroying to witness.

Take her to the GP. Both my DC had bad spots. The GP said he wished more children got help earlier. I hope she's ok. It's horrible for teenagers.
