My daughter who is a teenager had recently diagnosed with partial hearing impairment with her right ear. Her audiologist in Westside audiology, Calgary advised her to use hearing aids for better audibility. But she is refusing to use hearing aids, She is wondering whether her classmates tease her because of this hearing aid. How can I convince her? Basically, she is a swimmer and she loves swimming, so she needs a waterproof aid. Her audiologist suggested a digital waterproof invisible ear plug for her. Does anyone have an experience which such hearing aids? What are the things to be considered before using a hearing aid? Are they too expensive?
