can you suggest a gentle way for my daughter to break up with a boy she's been dating a few days but feels disloyal to her best friend as he is her best friends ex?Shock

will collar DD in a minute... how old is yours?

DD & her mates seem to be miraculously good at just being honest with each other.

"I've decided I just don't like you in that way. Really happy to stay mates, though, hope you feel the same" is what they seem to say. Last time DD broke off she said "I just don't want to be tied down" too.

Still tense relations after being dumped, for a few weeks, then settles down again usually.
