Is it a new game?

I always tend to check out the Supermarkets, then GAME, then Amazon. The last few PS4 games I got from Asda.

ssd · 04/11/2015 14:59

yes, its new and due out this friday, or midnight the night before......

both ds's want it, but I cant see anywhere doing it cheaper...it might be a call of duty game, now I come to think of it.

You will be queuing up at midnight obviously. Wink

I am wondering why Ds1 hasn't mentioned it. Confused

ssd · 04/11/2015 15:23

maybe he hasn't realised yet and there will be a mad rush on Friday?

OP posts:
ssd · 04/11/2015 15:24

the ds's would have me queuing at midnight if I was daft enough Grin

They wanted me to queue at midnight for FIFA 16. I didn't. Grin They had to spend a day at school before they could play it. Shock

ggirl · 04/11/2015 15:28

how cruel sparkling!

Sparklingbrook · 04/11/2015 15:28

I know. I am mean Mum. Grin

Bizarrely enough, the supermarkets have the best offers and order them in huge numbers. I used to panic about the COD releases, thinking they'd all be sold out. Black ops 2 I pre-ordered online for a higher price, then saw it on the release day at the tescos checkout on the way home for PS10 cheaper.

ssd · 05/11/2015 09:01

cant see it cheaper anywhere Sad

It's one minute past 9 ssd, I hope you are at the shops.

Are you paying for it? Grin

ssd · 05/11/2015 09:23

its out tomorrow sb and yes, I'm paying for it!

am buying it for ds2 and feel its unfair to buy him and not ds1, although ds1 has a part time job its irregular hours and he hasn't worked for a few weeks so has no money......

the joys!

and I bet after I buy 2 copies of the same bloody thing tomorrow, I'll find a voucher or something for money off, or somewhere selling it cheap! Never fails!

also meant to say, I seen a brilliant stocking filler for Xmas yesterday on tv, its from JML called the hover ball, looks like fun and only £11!

Sorry ssd, I keep thinking it's Friday today. Blush

Oh yes, we have that. DS1 has a P/T retail job so has money but Ds2 just has his paper round which pays a lot less and they always want the same stuff.

I have asked them about Black Ops. DS1 has mocks in December (although they aren't allowed to be called mocks any more) he says he will get the game after so he isn't diverted from revision. Shock However DS2 would quite like it asap......

Hover Ball sounds right up their street.....

Francescal88 · 05/11/2015 09:29

It's £37.86 on shopto.net - that's definitely the lowest price I've seen it at.

ssd · 05/11/2015 09:32

my god your ds1 is a sensible lad!

OP posts:
ssd · 05/11/2015 09:33

the shopto thingy says guaranteed delivery or £5 credit but I think it had to be bought yesterday before noon?

They can have games not at Christmas or Birthday as long as they pay,

ssd, I have no idea where this sensible 16 year old has come from. We'll see what happens when tomorrow evening all his mates are online playing the new game and he isn't. wink]

Sparklingbrook · 05/11/2015 09:51

Wink even.
