Similar to campamerica but starting end of july

My dd 18 wants to do Americamp/ campamerica next summer but is not available until end of July. Due to the type od university course she wants to do,she will not be able to do again until the year after she graduates when she will be working. So really need a similar scheme that starts mid/end July.
Any ideas?

Or can any tecommend a good volunteer scheme working with children. She has lots of experience with children with SEN.

American schools break up eatlier than in the UK, end May to Mid June depending on the State. Consequently they go back to school mid to end of August. So that doesn't leave a lot of time to work at a summer camp. Sorry I can't think of anything. Would she consider taking a Gap year ?

Thanks, I realise that is the problem with the US, but would also be interested in volunteer schemes with a good reputation elsewhere.
