Teen Suit

DS needs a dark grey suit to wear for sixth form. The ones in a smaller size that would fit him are more for weddings and men's suits are too big. He's about 5'4" and would probably be a size 8 if in a ladies size. Any ideas where I could get one? The school unhelpfully has not suggested a supplier, just said get any cheap dark grey suit.

You could get one close in size and get a local seamstress to shorten the legs.

Top man is DS2 choice, (c36 w30 he's round a ladies size 10) they do a slim fit and then a skinny fit. They are quite light in the shoulder pad (unlike m&s and burton, which are both expensive) sale suits go down in price by approx 70% (got jacket for £15 in last sale.)

Skinny/slimfit trousers from top man also will shorten reasonably well, because they're very straight cut, so you won't have ankle flapping hems because of turn up.

My son is about 5'8" and skinny- he likes the top man skinny fit suit.

We got some fantastic suits for DS for Sixth form in Primark. Loads of choices in sizes and colours. Really cheap too. Worked out cheaper than new Blazer and school uniform.

Isn't Primark for wider built guys?

Primark was one of the few places we could get a 38long for DS as well as M&S.

Sorry sizes. Trousers start at 26 waist and all the way up. Jackets sizes to match. Choice of skinny fit if wanted.

When I said 38 long above I meant Jacket not trousers by the way. The suit he got from Primark was ok and very cheap
