Hello, This is my first post here. I'm curious how much time your teen spends at home. My 16 year old daughter spends about half the time at her boyfriend's house (do not agree w. this) and half the time at home.

What's wrong with a legal 16 year old spending time at her boyfriends?

She is sleeping with her boyfriend which I disagree with plus she will stay with him for several nights/days in a row. I really miss her.

I would miss her too. How does it work with school and homework?

My teen boys are always at home, although I suspect that'll change when they get girlfriends. But I'd limit overnight stays to weekends/school holidays.

Doesn't really matter if you disagree with her sex life. At 16, she doesn't need to consult you anymore.

I fear this is an issue of struggling to loosen the apron strings - the first affront on your relationship and another sign that your daughter is growing up and gaining her independence that you don't like.

Tell us, is there any unsuitable about the boy?
