Has your teen stayed on the same centile for height?

Just curious, I have 3 boys, the oldest is 16 and varied between the 75 and 90 th centiles and has settled around 75th. My 6 yr old has stayed on 75 th and my 8 year old has never moved off the 50 th centile. I'm wondering if he'll be the shortest of the 3 or if he'll suddenly move up a centile.

Do you mean from birth? My twins were on a low centile when they were young (because of prematurity probably) but my DD is now my height and my DS is much taller than me with giant feet. Aged 13.

mine have more or less followed their centiles.

DS1 started in the middle of the top blue band, followed the line exactly and is still in the middle and is coming up 15. That is actually very like his personality - he likes to do everything by the book! :o

DS2 started on 50th at birth and moved up to 99.6th by age 3 and has stayed there, he is coming up 14.

Neither of mine did, DD started on the 50th and ended up below the 4th.

DS started on 50th and finished on 90th.

Is it bad that I have no idea how I'd even work that out? Two of mine are now taller than me though and the 12 year old will be any minute.

Miss - I'm a bit anal. I plot them in the red book every year on their birthday :)

DS was born on 25th (full-term 10 days late), moved to between 25th and 50th by 5, moved to 75th by 10 is now 14 and just below 98th! It is quite possible that he won't grow any more and will end on 75th by 18.

DD was born between 9th and 25th, moved to 25th then around 50th by 5 where she stayed till about 12. She is now nearly 16 and has been on the 25th for 4 years.

So no, they bear no resemblance to RL height growth!
