The youngest of 4 teenagers, no problems with them. Was 5 when I slit up with his dad, always had problems through schools but over last year got worse. I have remarried even though stepdad been in his life for 7 yrs still wont except him still as contact with his dad. Started getting really angry at school and home smashing up his room getting angry over slightest 0f things and taking it out on his stepdad to the point he keyed his motorbike and bragged to friends he had loosened some bolts! Have taken him to doctors not medical so school are trying to sort something in school ....not sure what to do anymore have threated to send him to his dads but he doesn't want to go. Not sure how much more we can take :(

Your GP is incorrect. Your s need support. This can be either via councelling through school or ask your GP to refer you to child and family psychology. He really needs to understand what's causing the anger.
It does sound like your marriage breakup has something to do with it. There is a book called the explosive child which may help you as well.
