Can anyone please give me an idea what I can buy our 14 year old nephew for his b'day under £10, has to be under as I've got £9.58 until next week. He likes reading, but that's about it. Don't want to ask his Mum as I know she'll come up with an expensive top costing £20!

What about a voucher for the Cinema? 10 should cover a ticket and popcorn maybe?

Timberkits? I don't know but I'm sure I got one for £9 at Xmas

If you're near a TKMax you can get tops that are brands and under £10 but it varies from 1 visit to the next. I have bought my nephew headphones/ cool wallet/ chube under a tenner in same store. My teens love magazines - choose a favourite hobby (cars/planes/trains) and get magazine for it then top up with bargain chocolate at till in WHSmith. You could get the latest Dan Brown book or get 2/3 in charity shop - I managed to get box set of Hitchhikers Guide to Galaxy for a fiver in very good condition. Gods luck - I logged on to ask about a present for a 16year old girl so I shall be starting new thread!!

Honestly, all my 14 year old would like is cash and he would be very happy with £5. Smile

I agree that a favourite magazine or 2 (music sport gaming whatever he is into) with a box of maltesers (often on offer for £1) or other treat is a fun gift and cash is usually welcome - £5 or £10 is plenty.

New tennis balls at this time of year is a good one if he likes to play tennis or just knock about with his mates.

do you have any tesco club card vouchers? you can swap £5 in vouchers for £15 or £20 worth of stuff, eats out, bowling, and some gift ideas, like subscriptions to magazines. I've used them to buy presents before

In-ear headphones - most teens are never without them!
