My dd started her periods about a year ago .They stopped about 3 months ago .She is athletic and trains for 2 hours aday.She has lost about half a stone in weight, but is slowly putting it back on again.Do I take her to the gp or leave it a few more months?tia

If she is very slim and trains a lot, I imagine that is why they may have stopped. Is she worried too?
If she is, I would definitely go to see the GP who can reassure her.

Agree with bigTillyMint, take her to the gp to put her mind at rest and yours. At that age her hormones are all over the place and trying to adjust so irregular periods are very common and are nothing to worry about :)
