its cold outside

we live in canada and the winters here are very cold..sometimes its minus 40...but my daughter refuses to dress warmly...she wont wear boots, no hats and certainly no gloves...Has anyone been through this before and how did you handle the situation?

I assume she's a teenager so you don't handle it - you let her experience the consequences of her decisions.
