Trousers for slim 14yr old boy

Title says it all really. DS has virtually outgrown the childrens section in most shops, but is slim enough that he needs the adjustable waist band pulled nearly/all the way in on his trousers. He is expected to move into small mens in the eyes of the shops, but he could probably fit in one leg with room to spare!!! Where do other slim teenage boys get their trousers from? Looking online last night, it appears BHS, Next and H&M may have stock in his size, but I am unsure how many still have adjustable waist bands.

Next does and mine is 15 and so does long leg BHS. Even Primark do on some of them but tbh my DS just wears jeans baggy anyway

Thanks sanity. He hasnt stopped growing in the last 6 months and is racing up sizes at a rate of knots, so I've only just realised that the supermarkets stop at 14 for the boys stuff, hence going around the internet last night and posting here now, if he carries on the way he is, the 13-14 are going to be too short by Christmas. As for baggy - he is like a pole, straight up and down, he has nothing to keep things up, if they aren't cinched in, they are around his ankles :(

Went into primark the other day to be told they stop at 13, and are then meant to go into mens! Sounds like that may only be mine, I might go have a hunt in Birmingham when I next go that way.

Oh, and just thought, he has dyspraxia and finds belts fiddly so if I can keep away from trousers being held up by something, that is far preferable.

Mine were both in men's trousers by 12. Both had size 11 feet by the time they went to secondary. Waist size 26 or 28 and long length.
I used to get school trousers from Tesco or Matalan. Plain black suit trousers in small sizes but sadly not with adjustable waist.

My son wears skinny jeans. He gets them from route one etc. as the trendy shops seem todo them very skinny. The cost is about £35 a pair but that's all we can find. Adjustable waists make him look like he's wearing a nappy.

Oh I just remembered DS got skinny black smart trousers from Primark menswear. They were deemed acceptable for school.

M and s school trousers still have elastic in go up to age 16. River Island and topman do skinny fit.

School trousers, luckily, the supermarkets still seem to do, and in some cases are going up to 18 due to the increase in compulsory age, so I seem to be ok for them for now. It is the casual stuff I was struggling with. The sudden constant growth spurt has just catapulted me from thinking he had plenty of time left in the brands I would buy, to realising he is probably going to be out of them, height wise, by Christmas.

Primark men's trousers come up very small. Ds wears their black chinos for school ( he's got away with it so far with a crease ironed in!) The 28 waist come In several leg lengths.

DS wears next trousers for school. They do smart black trousers in 28" waist, long length.

Oh sorry, not school trousers. He gets most of his trousers from Next in fact. And he has some diesel jeans from TKMaxx.

I just bought some jeans online for my skinny 15yo; he is 5ft 11 with a 30 inch waist so needs 30/34 which no one seems to do.

Just googled that size online and found a cheap jeans retailer. They look fab. Next online is also good.

NB buy one pair at a time as if he is like DS he will only wear them for a few months before they start looking like he has put on his younger brother's pants by mistake.

I have a very skinny 15 year old who refuses to wear normal school trousers. The last ones split as they were so tight!
