does anyone know national curriculum levels?

Just wanted to know the average level a year 9 should be anyone?

Basic expectations, on the low side is that they progress at least a level every two years. So Y9 you'd expect level 6. It depends on the child's individual progress though, if they were a high level 5 in Y6, then you'd expect more than L6 in Y9.

As above. Leaving primary with mid level 4 you'd hope to be mid level 6 by end y9, but a level5 is considered OK.

Broadly speaking you want to be at least high Level 5 end y9 to be on course for a C at GCSE. Schools often want high? L6 to be allowed to do triple science.

Pop over to the Secondary board on Education. You'll discover millions of kids all getting Level7 by end year 8. Ignore them, they are unrepresentative.
