Need help with a birthday present - DN doesn't seem to have any interests other than iPhone, socialising and her appearance and it turns out I'm a really uncool aunt

I tunes voucher, anything from hollister or superdry.

Boots voucher. And if she thinks you're so uncool don't waste any more time worrying about it.
Or annoy her and buy her an encyclopedia or some such, just for fun.

Yep I would have wanted a voucher at that age. Boring present but she'll like picking out her own stuff.

Unless you know her well and are confident she'd like it I'd be wary of mani/pedi vouchers and especially fake tan vouchers.

I have a 15YO and she said vouchers for H&M, Topshop, Forever21, Lush or Accessorise would be what she would like.

Just the cash really. Mine don't like vouchers and would far rather have the money as would my teenage nephew and niece.

If you want to get vouchers then I would agree with Top Shop or Boots. I'd be wary of mani/pedi as they like doing that themselves and a spray tan could go either way - they either love it or think it's 'chavvy'

To just be given the £25 to squander in Primark

Vouchers for Starbucks, Topshop, Jack Wills, Hollister, H&M, Zara.

Or my DD3 (14) always appreciates accessorize type jewellery and scarves as gifts.

Do 14 year olds really have spray tans?

My 13y DD2 would say, Cold hard cash or Primark or Superdry voucher. £25 = loads of stuff in Primark or a at shirt in Super dry. In other places vouchers are likely to give annoying to spend change or need topping up. Boots vouchered be OK because it's easy to make up any amount there too.

DSIS got cool aunt status for Jack Willis t shirts in the sale.

Neither DD would appreciate a spray tan, DD1 doesn't tan and would look daft, DD2 goes honey brown naturally because she spends her life outside trampolining.

Costa coffee Cafe Nero vouchers are another one that would work, DD2 has a bad iced drinks habit if she can get a mug to pay £3. Nando's is over DD2's mates budget, they tend to KFC.

I'm 15 so have a good idea of what she'd like

if you're going for a voucher I'd say : jack wills, hollister, abercrombie, topshop, river island, h&, paperchase, superdry, itunes (although this is of no use if she illegally downloads her music) boots, costa, starbucks

a MAC lipstick costs £15 and if she's into makeup she will love you for this or any other posh makeup brand eg, ysl or benefit cosmetics

definitely any smellies/bath cosmetics from Soap and Glory as they are cool and smell gorgeous

My 14yo dd is a bit odd and would most like more knives and axes (she's keen on bushcraft), but I wouldn't recommend that for any other 14yo girl.

I tend to give book vouchers to my many nieces, who can (reasonably) not want to buy books? All my dds and nieces and nephews do read though, otherwise I'd probably give cash.
