Contraception for teenagers (the rod or the needle?)

Hi, I'm a first time thread starter and I am asking for advice about what is better , the pill the rod or the injection? I just found out my 16 year old daughter snuck out at 4am and lost her virginity to a total stranger in a park. I can't do anything about that but I want to stop her from getting pregnant because she is very irresponsible and immature. She tells me she wants a baby and doesn't care who to. I can't talk to her about this because she is so immature. Suggestions welcome.

In those circumstances the implant would give you 3 year piece of mind but how on earth you get her to consent to that when she wants a baby I don't know.

I think you need to try and get through to her about how risky her behaviour is- an implant won't protect her from STIs, rape or other physical harm.

She clearly does need contraception and it needs to be something semi permanent. However I think that that's far from the only issue here and you need additional help as she's putting herself in serious danger here. Social services? CAHMS?
