What ever does it mean? Keeps coming up in conversation between DD and her friends?

HuwEdwards · 04/09/2006 12:48

have no idea

jollymum · 04/09/2006 13:09

DS16 says it means "smell".
HTH

HenniPenni · 04/09/2006 13:22

Ah jollymum, that fits right in because her and her friends are usually refering to boys when I hear it!(they're only 11 )

peng! weird word, it could be shortened from 'pen and ink'

JackieNo · 04/09/2006 13:38

or 'pong'?

bamboo · 04/09/2006 13:45

JackieNo, did you see you got a mention in The Guardian G2 today.

HenniPenni · 04/09/2006 14:07

Have just weedled it out of her, apparently it means "fit", why can't they just say cute or good looking!

southeastastra · 04/09/2006 17:43

JackieNo · 04/09/2006 18:01

Oooh - fame at last. Thanks for pointing that out, southeastastra.

Georgie11 · 16/05/2007 22:19

peng does not meen smelly my 11 year old dd uses the word all the time and has told me it meengood looking the same as buff.

dinosaurrawwr · 14/08/2012 14:36

It means fit

flow4 · 14/08/2012 18:56

It means 'really good', in all sorts of contexts. I've not heard it used to mean 'good looking', but I guess it could. Its opposite is 'deng', meaning really bad or disgusting!

TeenageWildlife · 16/08/2012 18:31

And similar to leng, which means good.

snickers251 · 16/08/2012 18:39

I agree with others peng is 'fit'

D15yrS had been using this word for some time now

dexter73 · 16/08/2012 20:08

peng is fit and butters is ugly (apparently).

pettyprudence · 16/08/2012 20:19

peng is fit/nice - a boy or dinner can be "well peng". The opposite is leng.

I have a teenage niece and am forever trying to decipher her fb statuses Grin

flow4 · 16/08/2012 21:36

Round here, 'peng a leng' means something like 'extra peng'/'extra good' :) Here's peng-a-leng in the Urban Dictionary!. SO do other phrases like 'well peng', 'pengalicious' and 'peng-ass'! Grin

'Deng' is definitely horrible or ugly! And here's deng in the Urban Dictionary

doinmummy · 17/08/2012 17:58

Peng = Fit

Sick = good
