DD 14, not really very well, teenagery to be honest! She empties the dish washer when she see's it full, lays the table and clears up when asked does all homework on time. Obviously she can get annoyed with her brothers and Dad etc. But the majority of the time she gets along with them and it's really because she's tired. Does this happen where some girls don't really get effected? Or, is it just hasn't started yet? Any additional questions just ask - thanks!

They will have started, this is just how she is. My girls were never too bad either.

Be grateful! Grin

Not all teenagers turn into aliens.

To answer your question, about 8 Grin

Some of them are nice, though. dd is generally ok (if a bit grouchy at times).

Your DD sounds lovely - maybe she is just naturally more laid-back and even-tempered?

DD(14) tarted getting teenagery from starting secondary school aged 11 but it got much worse from Y9 - from 13. She is now quite high-maintenance and very easily upset - much less resilient than I would have thought, but we do get glimpses of the sunny, bubbly child she wasSmile

Hormones hit DS(13) like a train when he turned 12 in Y7, but he has gone from being a very spirited, emotional high-maintenance child to (at the moment) a pretty mature, confident and caring teen. Long may it last (although he does still have his moments!)

I had one bad year, at 15. Other than that she was lovely.

My ds, late at 15.

With my 2 Ds' I'd say 15 to 17 were the most hormonally difficult years.
