Keeping everybody happy

I have a DD13 and DS3 and really struggle to find things I can do with both of them. I make time to do things with each of them separately but find it virtually impossible to come up with shared activities. We do parks/outdoor activities, museums, crafty stuff, swimming etc but attention spans just don't match up and it usually ends up with one or both having some kind of meltdown! Sometimes DD is great with DS and will play with him but it can so easily descend into bedlam as DS is quite a handful and DD can be a stroppy drama queen.

With the holidays looming I'm slightly dreading how I will keep them both happy - anyone else in the same boat? what do you do???
