After 2 years of hostility and passive aggression from DS ( now 16) I am having to get used to him talking to us again, and amazingly sometimes when it is not entirely essential and not always when he wants something.
I thought this might give hope to those of you with difficult adolescent boys, it has happened suddenly and without warning Smile

Claybury thanks for that. DS1 (nearly 15) is currently like Jekyll and Hyde and it's exhausting.

Lovely, currently dealing with the whole teen thing, 3 altogether in our house, that is good to know, really nice to read, maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel for all.
