Whenever things were bad I could read some of your threads and the whole world seemed better because you were there. Thank you for keeping so many of us calm and sane through the thick and thin of teenage parenting. Huge respect. I could go on and on but...Nuff said.

Here here Josie. Another one here who has taken so much from MaryZ's posts.

Maryz is one of the few MN-etters who gets that some teenagers are very, strong-willed and won't respond to being grounded/nagged to do schoolwork etc.

I've had good advice from her and *Flow4" about much more trivial concerns than they've had with some of their DC.

It's nice to feel supported rather than disapproved of for apparently being a 'soft touch' neglecting their duty to try to get their DC to behave perfectly.
