Venting again

Sorry but venting again.
I got through almost a whole evening without any arguments. First time in this year.
Every day is filled with fear walking on eggshells.
The worst thing is when DD wants something like a lift she is sweetness and light, funny engaging wonderful to be with.
Outside that the days she doesn't need lifts, it's a constant act of aggression.
When does the you 'asked me to do something' so I have to do the opposite STOP.
So fed up with petty fights over nothing.
I live with a 19 year old and yet........when do they become adults that actually respect feelings?

Feel for you. Also have a 19 year old who is mostly lovely but does behave as if he is much younger at home.
