Just found a porn website in my sons phone - what do I do now?

He's 14 and a nice lad if a bit lazy - thought he was too into his Xbox to be bothered by this yet but seems he's having a nosy. I have an Osborne book about puberty and such like but what do I tell him/ where do I point him on why porn is unrealistic and not very nice?? I'm not completely anti porn and remember when I was his age pinching a dirty mag as I was curious as to what went on - how can I tell him to explore his sexuality safely???

Any useful websites would be a huge help!!
Tia

Thanks in advance

Personally I would engineer a frank discussion at a time when he couldn't escape - a shopping trip or car journey maybe.

I would discuss the issues surrounding porn in general terms rather than embarrassing him about what you've seen on his phone.

Something like 'I was reading a newspaper article today and...' or 'I read something on mumsnet today...'

Sounds like he might be a bit passed an Usborne puberty book.

www.parentchannel.tv is very good for info on this sort of thing.
