Lump under nipple ds 12

Ds (12) has about a just under 1 inch lump under his right nipple. I am a bit worried about this, can you lot she'd any light on this please

If it's not a bruise or similar (i.e temporary swelling), I'd err on the side of caution and get the GP to look at it.

It is more than likely hormonal. I remember DS1 being very worried at about the same age because he had a lump under one of his, almost like a breast bud. Took him to the GP who said it was absolutely normal..happens to lots of boys as they hit puberty and it would go again in time. It did..he's got a perfectly flat, normal nipple now!

DS was really worried he was going to have one boob!

Ditto what Medusa said. Same thing happened to ds2 around that age.

Same here with DS1. Same age.

But please get it checked out by a real life Dr and not people on the internet. It probably is nothing but better to be safe.

Yes. its probably just hormones, but you/he need to be certain of this.

same with ds here too - went to GP, it subsided after a few weeks. Hormones.

Same here, same age. I took him to the doctor as well.
