I need some advice from other mums in my situation. My son is 15, but really close to me. My problem is my partner's jealousy of him. It isn't verbal or violent. Its subtle, jealousy.

Could you give any more details?

adeucalione · 24/01/2014 12:52

How does the jealousy manifest itself and is your DS aware of it?

Is it baseless or do you think that your partner is unnecessarily sidelined sometimes?

It's unacceptable for a grown man to be acting like this towards a young man who has done nothing to warrant it, you are his mum so I am afraid it's down to you to either read your partner the riot act or tell him to leave.

adeucalione · 26/01/2014 22:16

I'm not sure we know how he's acting do we?

It might be something you could work through without riot acts or LTB but we need more info OP.

what adeucalione said

the OP's posts could cover anything from openly bullying the boy to admitting to the OP in private conversation that he sometimes feels jealous of him
