Nitrous oxide balloon or something else ??

I know all about the laughing gas balloons but DD tells me there is a 'new ' drug the boys at schools are talking about putting in balloons. Anyone know anything ?
DD is my source of info, DS is my worry ...

Nos itself isn't tooooooo bad, the main risks from it come from if its done in an enclosed space and thus the concentration in the air gets so high that there is less oxygen to breath and thus people faint (and possibly more damage if they stay in the environment once passed out) . Its not hugely dangerous in itself (Its the gas that is used in whipped cream cans for example) and isn't illegal.

However my main worry for you if your son did get involved would be that if he is willing to try this then he is probably more willing to try other stuff (Weed, ketamine, mcat, ect)

I came in to see if this was a sequel to the bun fight of the helium balloon thread from yesterday, but as it isn't and I have no sensible advice I'll be off
