Bye, miserable ds

We aren't out tonight, all of her older brothers are. We have been out and had a nice day. She is part of a small group of friends who live a distance from each other, so apart from school they hardly see each other. Tonight she has become really down, ate dinner gone upstairs. Won't talk to us. We don't have anyone to go and visit, feel so sorry for her.

Poor thing. I was like that as a teenager, lived miles away from friends and older sister was usually out with her boyfriend. I used to (secretly) love it when Dad suggested a board game, even at age 16-18. Would that help? Sounds a bit odd, but an activity rather than "chat" might engage her.

I'd invite the friends round to my house for a sleepover. Shame nothing was sorted in advance .

Oh I was struck down by the curse of mn last night so couldn't reply. She basically snapped out of it after a sneaky hooch and laughing at my shite card playing. She gets pissed off with her friends never wanting to do anything together and think it culminated in a huge hissy fit.
