he has been given chance after chance at college. he says he smokes pot when he can't sleep - he does bar work and can't sleep when he gets home, has a beer or cidar or three and i am not sure about how often he smokes pot.

Yes, probably. But the bar work must be hard to do alongside college, too. How many nights per week is he home late?
