Gift ideas for DS14 other than computer games and gadgets

Does anyone have any ideas what to get a 14 year old boy other than computer games and gadgets? (I bought those already) I also already got him some books.

His interest is engineering but only big things (he does not work with a great physics box I got him some time ago)

He dreams of having heavy farm machinery, power tools and building boats and rockets. We have a lot of space here but no money or inclination to buy these things.

What am I to do???

Bag for school, nice hardback notebook, diary! pens, new case for phone? ipod?i pad? teenager board game, annual (my DS14 is into Minecraft and they do an annual)

You can get great collectors quality, model farm machinery, authentic detail and built to scale.

Try a company called Britains.

To follow on from the above post, I'd suggest farm/machinery models from a company called Universal Hobbies, bit more on the expensive side, but worth it for the detail.

A beaney (sp?) hat. All DD1 male friends seem to have them glued to their heads even indoors.
