I have been divorced from the father of my 2 children for several years, my 15 year old son was staying at his fathers last weekend and came home with two bags of "legal" high smoking mixture. One is called devils weed and the other jamacan ghanja. My ex husband bought this for him! it clearly states on the packaging only to be sold to over 18s.
My ex husband not was another son who is only 3 living with him, I have now said my children will be having no more contact with him but I am now worried about the welfare of his other son and also feel he should be reprimanded for buying my son what I view as drugs

They are definitely drugs.

Some of the stuff in those so called 'legal' highs are disgusting. There have been a few documentaries on about them. The chemicals they put in some are terrible and others just use talcum powder to add weight like they do street drugs.

I don't know what practically you can do except prevent your son going to visit him. At his age though that might be difficult, as he is nearly an adult.

IRT his other son I doubt very much that he'd give something like this to a 3 year old but if you are genuinely concerned then I would put a call in. He sounds very irresponsible and stupid if he thinks doing this kind of thing is good in any way. Maybe he was smoking it and his son wanted some and he let him? Or perhaps he thought it would make him look cool and down with the kids.

Whatever the reason, he's a complete pillock.

Why do you think they are 'legal'. Sound like synthetic cannabinoids to me which are ILLEGAL.

MistAllChuckingFrighty · 11/11/2013 20:17

Report him, of course

Thants · 11/11/2013 20:18

They are legal they sell them in shops. Do you know it was definitely their dad that bought them?

Report him and perhaps SS will have a look at how the3 yo is being cared for.

But make sure it was the father who bought this and he didn't get it some other way.

I'd call the police
