Irregular Period for teenager

My teenager has had her period every 2 wks for 3 months now. She's very active in sports. She's almost been having her cycles for 2 years now. It's not regular for this to occur for her. Her acne has gotten worse for approximately 6 months now. Meds haven't helped much. She's always had constipation trouble and the last couple of years she gages when she drinks. Wondering if anyone has had any issues with their child. Wondering if it could be her Thyroid even though she hasn't had any significant weight gain or loss but there is family history on my side with thyroid problems. She also has a possibility of having Von Willebrand's (blood clotting disorder). Not sure if this could be affecting her periods either.
