DS(16) has shaved off all of his pubic hair!!

Not sure if im more annoyed that he left it all in the bath and I had to make him go back and clean it up, or that hes potentially having casual sex.

He denies being in a relationship or having sex but yet why would you? actually quite frustrating as I can never get him to have a proper bloody wash or wash his hair, shave his face but yet he randomly does this!

Not sure that I need advice just needed to rant Smile

Well, it is his to shave, and he is old enough to have a sex life without your approval. However, leaving pubic hair in the bath is completely out of order.

Mine have all done/ do it. I don't see the connection with casual sex though. Experimentation and good old curiosity. It's a pain when they are all over the bath and loo though, I just shout ' who's been doing their pubes again' a voice will answer ' me' followed by ' sorry, I forgot ' .

If he is 16, he is old enough to have sex, whether casual or not. Instead of hoping that he isn't, perhaps you could have a chat with him and get him some condoms.

According to my Mum, my Uncle once shaved all his off when he got crabs (this is going back approx 40 years).... maybe???

I don't think it was a trim as the bath was covered. Tonnes of it. Bath hadn't emptied as it had blocked the plug hole!!!

He won't discuss sex at all. For all his want to be treated as an adult hes definitely a young 16yr old. His birthday is July. When condoms were offered and told to use tgem regardless of what anyone says about pill etc made a point of them being for protection from std and not just unwanted pregnancy. He told me I was disgusting for it? This was only a few weeks ago.

I shaved my ladygarden when I was 14, no reason other than I wanted to see what it felt like. Velcro is the answer.

He could be doing it 'just cos', to make his willy look bigger, or because he sees all the 'Brah' gym types hairless?
Does he run/jog?

Has he got (or had he) chest hair too?
