Do you love your husband more or your teenagers more

Just curious to know as i have seen many mother who say " You grow closer to your husband once kids turn teens ". How true is that ?

Do we really need a third thread on this?

What an odd question. Surely the love is different for husbands and children?

Do I love teenager 1 more than teenager 2? Answer is pretty obvious: I cannot and should not choose. Don't see why I should choose between husband and teenagers either then. I love them. Full stop.

Yes, I have grown closer to my husband, but that is because every year that goes by is another year that we have shared, another year of supporting each other, another year of standing shoulder by shoulder through difficult times and sharing fun times, another year of deepening our relationship and trust: it's nothing to with dc suddenly turning teenagers.

Does anyone really analyse this? Seems rather puerile.

How do you quantify the level of love you have for others? I love my dh and dcs. Just that. No concept of loving any one of them more or less than others.

I love my husband and my children. I don't need to analyse who I love more I just love them.
