It will pass Grin
One day the relentless grinding wheel will gently slow and you will realise that at least one of your offspring has become nearly human again....

(Ok you will still be doing their laundry/being a tax/lending money) but they become less stressful. Honest!

Mine are now 21, 20, 19 and 16 and even the one who was VILE for about 5 years, has magically become human. And while I am still a taxi, money lender, washerwoman and general maid, they are actually grateful these days! Two of mine are at uni now and living away, they are so happy to be home for the summer!

Hang in there..! (and drink wine if it helps!! Id does for me!)

I agree with medusa it will pass Smile

I had three teenagers and at times I wanted to run away to a very remote island.

Mine are 22, 20, 19 now - all adults, still need support, still providing the taxi Grin but oh they are such good company - its a joy and a privilege to watch them blossom into independent adults.

They now cook for me - and every now and then even do the washing up :-)

I would say, keep a light touch, keep your sense of humour, and remember we're in it for the long term - one day they will ask you "how did you stay sane when we were teenagers?" and you will cite MN and Wine
