Ground rules for DS14 to have his (happens to be a girl) friend round?

That's it really. My self-confessed geek DS14 is having his friend round tomorrow. I'll expect they'll want to slope off to his bedroom and mess about on the computer.

Mothers of girls, what would you have me do? I'm new at this!

Bedroom door has to stay open?

Graceparkhill · 01/04/2013 20:45

Just treat her like any other friend surely?

Lomaamina · 01/04/2013 20:46

it was the bedroom door I was wondering about - when I was that age I would have felt more comfortable having the door open, but of course I want to treat her like any other friend!

(so yes, thanks for the rapid responses: that's what I was wondering!)

What are you worried about exactly?

Lomaamina · 01/04/2013 21:02

Umm. I'm not sure exactly. Just wanting to make sure that she feels comfortable.

Do you think they might do something? If so, treat her the same as any other mate, because, he could do things with his male mates.

Smile in my innocence I hadn't thought of that, ihearsounds. Thanks all. Signing off for the Herculaneum programme on BBC2...
