Growing Pains

did any of your teenagers have these? DS2 is nearly 14 and complaining of pain in his knee although he hasn't hurt himself. I remember DS1 (nearly 16) having the same problem. We went to the doctor who said it was very common. Anyone else experienced this with their teenagers?

Hi motheroftwoboys, sorry I didn't see this before. Yes, both ds have had this problem, particularly in the knee. Its caused by the bones growing at a faster rate that the ligaments, which then stretch tight like rubber bands/. It comes and goes, I'm afraid!
