My daughter has been diagnosed with anxiety and depression. She is on medication, has a therapist, has been enrolled in a day treatment program at a local hospital but is refusing to go. A few months ago she admitted that she'd been cutting herself since she was 12, but hid it very well. The last few months have been tough. She doesn't want to talk about the future or make goals and refuses to attend her day treatment program. It feels so hopeless, and I wonder if any other parents out there have been in this situation. Does it get better?
