Have promised DDs 15 and 17 a girlie day out in Bath. DD1 is learning to drive and I promised her she could drive us (its about an hour away). I said I'd like to leave at 9.30 at the latest.
I've been ready since 9.20.
Am taking bets on what time we will actually leave!
My money is on 10.30.

Anything past 10.00 and I'd cancel. But I am a hard liner!

Are they out of bed? Or just fannying around with clothes and hair? Big sympathies, two nearly teen girls here and it's all starting. Mine haven't been up before 11 every day of the holidays then when they appear it's another couple of hours getting showered, dressed and out. Big shock for them on Monday getting the 7.30 school bus

If they're not ready by 10 then I'd go without them, or go with whichever one is ready by then. But I'm a very mean person.

And the OPnhas made a perfectly reasonable request. Why is "being a teenager" a reason to excuse bad manners?

I'd normally go without them, but the day is for them really, so there's not a lot of point.
Miracle of miracles, the DD2 has just arrived in kitchen - now making toast. DD1 is out if shower, so 10.15 is looking promising.

It's the weekend at the end of several weeks holiday.

If they wanted to stay in bed they shouldn't have asked o go to bath. And if they couldn't bear to be ready by 9.30 as op requested then they should ave said so.

They are big enough to make sensible decisions. Why do we assume they are all hopeless toddlers?

Actually I think mine will have jet-lag or something next week when they have to go back to getting up at 7am. DS1 will have to move his body clock back a good 4 hours.
