Teenage Weekend Break

DS will be 18 next month and I am thinking of paying for a weekend break for him and his girlfriend who is 17 for his birthday present. They have been seeing each other since they were 16.
My question is: do hotels generally allow an 18 year old and 17 year old to stay in a room?
Are there any issues with booking? I will be paying but not obviously accompanying them.
I am looking for weekend breaks in Dublin, Paris or Amsterdam if that makes a difference.

My 16 year old daughter and her 18 year old boyfriend stayed in a hotel the night of his college prom and the hotel didn't seem to have a problem with it. They stayed in a Double Tree Hotel which i believe is owned by the Hilton chain.

Ok, thanks- maybe I am imagining problems that do not exist!

Why would there be a problem if he is 18? He is an adult perfectly entitled to book a hotel room and she is over 16. They could legally be married!
Lovely idea for a present!

I was just concerned about having teens in a hotel- you are right he will be an adult.
