I know that in the general scheme of things this is small potatoes but DD (14) has spent the whole summer holiday so far watching the effing E Channel, at a loud volume.
There is only so much celeb gossip a human mind can take before it implodes. Any suggestion of an alternative activity is met with the usual grunting nochalance, or as she is a teenager, total hostility.
