PMT in teens? Any solutions?

Dd1 (12 nearly 13) is driving me mad. Only on period 4 and she is incredibly predictable ( which I never have been) and has foul PMT.

She does the usual stroppy stuff at other times but the week before she alternates between crying and screaming at people. I take the pill for PMT but she's too young for that so I need other suggestions.

Pleeeeeaaaaasssssseeeee!

I think its normal tbh you just have to ride it,

Or, shes using it as an excuse to be a brat ?? .

High dose of evening primrose oil can help. You can take 3000mg a day. So one 1000mg capsule with each meal.

Don't think she is using it delibrately. That would involve admitting to periods.

my oldest DD (15 yrs) clearly has PMT but definitely doesn't use it deliberately because she totally denies that it could be PMT - because of course she's right and I'm wrong.
She won't take any vitamins for it because again, according to her it's not PMT.
If your DD will take any vitamins, as well as evening primrose mentioned above, you could go to Boots or somewhere and get something called Teen Girl (Haliborange) - which is a multivitamin especially for teens so must have a variety of vitamins for this sort of thing. I did get it for my DD but she refused to take any Confused

apart from that, I would just say that it's the devil you know and that's all you can say. At least you know what it is (even if she won't admit)!
