Hi I have a 14 year old dd and we do a lot together. She has recently said she wants to spend more time together though and maybe we could have a night to play games-she loves board games. So anyone above any suggestions? I haven't played any since I was her age!

Is it just the 2 of you? Maybe backgammon or card games. Guess who?

Backgammon, chess, draughts, Chinese chess, Uno, scrabble, Boggle, mancala (a good one when your brain is tired!), halma... At that age, I got absolutely obsessed by canasta... And I have two friends who spend hours playing and raving about a game called Carcassonne! :)

Carcassonne or Settlers of Catan are interesting.
Risk? But you might need more people.
"Go" is a true brain challenge.
I gather Blokus is good.
