Sitting waiting for my son to come home... rain coming down in rods, he failed the last timeSad its awful................the waiting I mean.
Anyone else want to share memories/ experiences of child's mean miserable examiners tests and how scrupulously unfair they are?

Well done to him. Now for the insurance..........

Sorted... after much research, sweating and hysteria at the unbelievable cost, we worked out it was easier to buy an old mini, have it shipped from south to north in the back of a big removal van and insure it, than it was to put him on his grandads insurance Grin
At the end of the day he gets a car, a no claims bonus (hopefully) and I get relief knowing he can't go faster than 55mph. Smiles all round.
They wouldn't even insure him for our car.. said the engine was too big, risk too great for young male driver etc etc... yes of course, I often see the boy racers in town burning rubber in their ancient S reg people carriers Grin
