This morning ds1 ..just turned 19... Not only brought me coffee in bed, BUT..
He cleaned up cat puke where our darling pain in the ass cat had thrown up her breakfast into the house phone dock nd over the sky box!

He was gagging when he trod in some too..but he did it for me!

I think I see glimpses of a nice adult just beginning to emerge from the hideous (and he was the drug taking wall smashing thieving variety) teen he was.... There is hope ladies! Hope!

OP, I share your joy, but just want to add a note of caution! You may be allowing yourself to be lulled into a false sense of security Think - ds1 cleaned up the phone dock, that he uses and I guess you pay for? self interest at work Ha! earning brownie points (you get my meaning) in bring you a coffee. Was the coffee after or before? Nevertheless, encouraging!

My 13 year old ds is currently scarifying the lawn, which he volunteered to do. He's been at for over 2 hours now.

I am dreading him turning into a stroppy teen!
