Does anyone have any links to good ones?

Not that I'm aware of, the ones I know are increasingly big on Tumblr (which is basically image curating rather than written text) and Twitter both as consumers and producers though.

What age, by the way?

wordfactory · 15/03/2012 11:16

I'm thinking 12+

Will look at Tumblr thanks.

lydiascolaro.tumblr.com/ Example of a year 9 londoner's Tumblr. Most Tumblrs are about curating images to try and express an aesthetic or something. A lot of it is very porny so maybe not so good for 12 year olds.

I assume some older teenagers could enjoy blogs like Gawker (www.gawker.com) or Jezebel (www.jezebel.com) or some of the other blogs in the Gawker stable or did you have a more personal sort of blog in mind?

www.hugoschwyzer.net/tag/teens-and-youth/ The teen section of Hugo Schwyzer's blog might make good reading for teenage girls, though it's probably not very fun.

To be honest, I was just wondering what was out there for teens. I'm considering setting one up myself and wonderedif there was any gap in the market.

I've had lots of blogs in the past, but not for teens.

Not to my knowledge.
They like You tube. Both my DSs watch all kinds of stuff on there from rubbish game commentaries to heavy duty science lectures.
