Hi just wondered if around where you are the word "Posh" means cocaine and also a ball park figure for how much it costs? Just been on son's facebook and got some answers to questions, I think. Sad

Come on people, need to sleep and can't as it's eating away at me.

Is anyone awake, I'm really stressing over this and as I'm usually in bed around 10pm, it's really late for me. I'll hang around for a few more minutes for any answers. Thanks.

have a look here

the 4th definition of "posh" in the Urban Dictionary

AnyFucker · 14/03/2012 00:37

not cocaine, a form of cannabis which is legal in the US, so possibly here too ?

AnyFucker · 14/03/2012 00:38

there is lot of info and where to get support here Ask Frank

stickyj · 14/03/2012 00:38

Hi, thanks I saw that and thought how much is 15/20 usd and saw another definition that said it was a term for cocaine that was used because mostly posh people used it. Not sure now.

an obvious question, but why not ask your son ?

AnyFucker · 14/03/2012 00:40

it isn't mainly posh people that use cocaine these days, that is a myth

stickyj · 14/03/2012 00:41

Just checked Ask Frank and it doesn't mention posh. Def saw it on son's messages.

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 14/03/2012 00:42

are you ok ?

there must be a huge backstory here

could you try and get some kip and speak to your son tomorrow, it may not be quite as bad as your imagination is telling you right now ?

personally, I would have had it out tonight....is there a reason you didn't ?

stickyj · 14/03/2012 00:43

Long story but he doesn't live her any more. Too much stuff gone on inthe past but although I suspected as much, I had no proof. He was chucked out from home for lots of stuff, his dad's house and his girlfriends. He just happened to leave his FB account open and I looked through to see if he's talking about his break up with his girlfriend. He was talking about this stuff at Xmas.

I have almost given up on him but the fact that he is my son makes he not disown him completely. If you had hours, you could check all the back history of him on here but I sometimes feel that I can't talk about him/stuff anymore because I am totally drained. How he is mine is a mystery but I still love him. I've only just started to contact him again after a six week break of no contact at all. Thought he was suicidal and starving after his girlfriend breakup, talked to his friend (as in singular cos he's screwed so many people over he has no freinds) and he was out playing golf!

ah

what a worry for you

try to get some sleep, love

I still think you should raise it with him though, obliquely if need be. I won't say any more just now as I am off to bed myself and because I have no idea what other stuff has gone on, so don't want to patronise you

bump this thread tomorrow and maybe do a shout out for maryz, she is fab with these issues

stickyj · 14/03/2012 00:48

I think that the price must be £30 for something. Any time he asks for money or steals money, it's always £30. Even a friend of mine who stayed over a few times has noticed the £30 thing. I am weary and sad. Thanks for answering, I am going to bed cos I have classes tomorrow.

you too

come back tomorrow, or when you can x

uruculager · 14/03/2012 02:49

One of the definitions of the word "posh" on Urban Dictionary is cocaine. Erf, I'm not sure but £30 could probably get you a gram of coke, couldn't it? Or he's being horrifically overcharged for less.

lucykat · 14/03/2012 09:43

Hope you can sort things out with your son. Really feel for you.
